The Unfriend is a dark satirical comedy exploring
middle-class English people’s attempts to remain polite
at all costs.
While on holiday on a cruise, English couple Peter and Debbie befriend Elsa, a Trump-loving widow from the USA. They find her offensively entertaining, and agree to stay in touch without ever intending to do so.
But when, a few months later, Elsa invites herself to stay, they decide to look her up online. Too late, they learn the truth about Elsa Jean Krakowski: she is a murderous criminal, and she has just boarded a flight to London.
But how do you protect all that you love from mortal peril without seeming, well, a bit impolite?
Introducing the cast who will be bringing the hilarious comedy of manners to the stage.

'Effortlessly entertaining... The action is line-by-line funny and an apt commentary on English middle-class manners... Moffat may be the new Ayckbourn'
Telegraph
'A cringe-tastic play of exquisite embarrassment... worthy of a place in the macabre comedy series Inside No 9'
