A SHOUT OUT TO ALL OUR BARN FRIENDS

We are delighted that The Barn is now up and running and firing on all cylinders for our 50 th

Anniversary Year, and we have a terrific programme of events and productions for 2022-2023.

The Committee has worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, and since restrictions have been

eased, to ensure that our loyal members and their guests can enjoy our beautiful theatre and all it

has to offer in the safest possible conditions. We know that some of our members have been

reticent to visit the theatre post-Covid so we were delighted to play to full houses during the recent

run of The Lady In The Van, which sent a reassuring and confident message that that many members

and guests felt safe at The Barn.

Following the hugely successful Lady in The Van, we have been busy rehearsing Mike Leigh’s iconic

Abigail’s Party, which will run July 5 th to 8 th , with a special matinee at 5.00pm on Sunday 10 th .

Your incredible support with our radio plays and live-stream productions during the pandemic

allowed us to continue and to keep The Barn Theatre alive. Now we are able to welcome members

and guests back into the theatre, we really do need your continued support, especially during such a

milestone year for this very special theatre.
